3,212 feet of water pouring off Auyán-tepui in Canaima National Park. Angel Falls (Kerepakupai Merú in the Pemón language) is the tallest waterfall on Earth, and it's in Venezuela — though seeing it in person takes a small plane, a dugout canoe and a lot of patience.
We made it easier: wear it on your ankle. Turquoise socks with the tepui, the falls and a little bird flying by, plus a banana on the toe so everyone knows where they come from.
For anyone who misses Venezuela, anyone who's never been, and that friend whose phone wallpaper is a tepui.
